Took a while to figure out how show works. Not really impressed. It is too easy to win larger amounts by guessing in the head- to -head round, then the person with most money has too short a time to win final round with 5 other contestants who can't win, so all they have to do is press their buttons fast and give wrong answers to prevent them winning. I saw the run of episodes where one contestant left and I had actually thought more of them would have left after more than a week . For 5 contestants that's a whole week away from their family/work with absolutely nothing to show for it.

Bradley Walsh has had a big hit with the game show 'The Chase' and makes around 150 episodes each year. You can't blame him then for wanting to branch out a bit with a new show, especially one that he's created himself.
Sadly I don't think this show works. He's mentioned in interviews that he wanted a game show that went on and on, and in that sense he's hit the nail on the head. This show does go on and on, round after round.
Yes, it's a bit different and we get to know the contestants more than a normal game show because they come back episode after episode until they win, but Bradley himself seems more staid than usual and some contestants are so annoying you want them to win so you don't have to see them again.
Bradley Walsh is one of the best presenters we have in the UK, but this format I don't think is the best vehicle for him.

Watched an episode where the escapee had just under 4 seconds left with one person between him and his hard earned cash. Other guy pushed button and let time run out and then admitted he didn't know the answer. Will never watch again
I just don't understand what's going on.Ive just sat through this for an hour, with a friend, and we're still none the wiser,to what's happening. Not as straight forward,as the Chase, probably takes a while,to work it all out.I just found it uninteresting, overlong, hard to follow, and underwelming.

The contestants are very irritating, think they want their moments of telly exposure. Pointless is winning me back. Bring back The Chase please .

I honestly don't understand those who say they can't understand it, it's not exactly rocket science! Chase viewers must just have a below average intelligence level. I personally think it is better than The Chase, which is getting overdone and chaser wise, if it's not Shaun Wallace or Anne Hegerty, I switch over, The Chase must be due for retirement soon anyway and Cash Trapped would make a great replacement. Yeah you do see some players from The Chase and other quiz shows on Cash Trapped, but that's the same with any quiz show, there are just people who go in for any quiz show they can get on.
You can always tell when people are playing tactically in this game in order to build their balance up and roll it over. There have been shows where the players lack the kind of personality that have you rooting for a particular player, but fortunately those shows did not roll over too many times.
I enjoyed the end of this series (Dec 2019) and am rooting for Julie to win the next series, with Louse as my second choice to win. Hopefully ITV won't pander to those who lack the intelligence to understand the show.
Can't understand the show? Maybe switch to CITV instead, I am sure you will find something you can keep up with on there.

An absolute dogs dinner of a format.
60 min of your life that I guarantee you'll regret wasting.
Even man of the people Bradley can't save this abomination.

The chase replaced by this snooze fest....
They replaced all sense of fun with a marathon slog of boredom.

Apparently Bradley knows what's going on. I think he's the only one. He's great, funny, love watching him but who thought up this series? Please let me shoot them-soon. The sooner The Chase comes back the better. So far I've not found a living soul who understands what's going on. The alternative is the b****y News. I rest my case
