Steps Challenge

The manner in which the Cloud 9 employees are shown using the fitness trackers to log more steps is not entirely accurate. The trackers measure movement of the arm, not feet moving on the ground. If they walk without moving their arms, or walk in place without moving their arms, the tracker will not log extra steps. Holding an object, or holding an arm still (in pocket, on hip, folded across chest, pushing a cart, etc.), will largely prevent a tracker from registering steps. A much better method to fool the trackers would be for the employees to simply shake their arms, even if they are remaining stationary.
