There are so many stunning scenes in this anime, it has elements of old english mythology and has very interesting characters and character designs, Elias in particuar I find to be a very interesting character . It has deep emotions and a great soundtrack which somehow balances celtic and japanease music wonderfully. I highly recommend this series, although warning it can get a little dark at times but it can also be very lighthearted and touching. There are OVAs too which I really recommend watching at some point too.

Perhaps not ideal for those who like action and a faster pace. However despite being Simple and rather slow paced, for me at least, I cannot recommend this show enough , this show has so much heart. I recommend trying to see it through until a few episodes into season 2 if it feels too slow, the warmth and characters of this show more than make up for the slower pace. It is a personal favourite of mine and it's a shame it doesn't have more fans. It gets more exciting in later seasons and is also very sad at times. I've never felt as protective of an anime character as i do the main character of this one, even though it took me a while to warm up to, this show really captured my heart.

This show is really good, it's so much more than just a typical sports anime. It deals with serious themes and can be hard hitting at times. So far I'm loving it and the characters are warm and realistic. I seriously hope it does well, if you haven't watched it yet please do, also be sure to stay around till after the credits or you can miss something important. Was supposed to be a 24 episode series but got cut to 12 but the writer wants to complete it when possible, so likely to get continued if supported for anyone who has heard the ending isn't finished it's because there is supposed to be more after it. Really hoping for more, I love this show so much
