I was thinking why I am enjoying this animation , in the end I came to a conclusion, there are certain aspects that make particularly me like it so much... Many people love cats , but the adventure that this film offers is not only about comradery of animals trying to survive an impending doom, but also about a sense of wonder that travellers often look for out there... Do you want to see magnificent scenery (Iceland, Faroe, Lofoten style )? Do you want to feel what you felt playing Elden Ring for the first time? Do you want to see a mysterious world that is trying to kill your beloved character ? Do you want to see unlikely friendships form? Then this film is probably for you...
Dune had a whole series of troubled adaptations, in fact the only Dune that did not disappoint was Denis Villeneuve adaptation... Dune Prophecy is a prequel that picked a very strange period, after machine war... So straight away the skipped "the good stuff" and went for political talks... I can only guess the main problem with the show is that the science fiction in it is minimal... Two episodes in and the worm wasn't even shown once... What we do get to see a lot is a lot of middle aged women discussing their plans... Who is science fiction audience usually? Men, young men, so if you are not giving much science fiction or have young attractive girls doing usual action stuff, political drama descends into an abyss of boredom, Star Wars would not be fun either if Clone wars was all about Palpatine and Viceroy talking about parliament policies , no one would watch them either...
I guess the expectations for last three episodes were high and while they explained nicely what happened to Jayce and Echo and Hamerdinger, after that the show went full "Final Fantasy" mode... Suddenly the show does a "Skynet"- "I robot "turn instead of a Zaun - Piltower conflict... In all of 3 final episodes barely any time is dedicated to Jinx and it seems the story shifted on to Vi - Catelyn relationship... Well I guess they wanted to turn the ending into full blown blockbuster action, but that was the problem, the ending was just mostly action... If you were the fans of Vi and Katelyn you were probably satisfied, Jinx on the other had had a completely disappointing finale...
