About This Round
Juno's groundtrack on Jupiter is still mostly on the nightside, but we do have a relatively distant Io flyby on the way in. Closest approach is at a range of 45824 km.
Perijove Predict Map
About Perijove Predict Maps

Every perijove pass we have the challenge of predicting where Points of Interest will be as the different zones of the planet have different wind velocities. This map shows our effort to rotate the latitudinal zones with their different wind speeds to predict what will be under the Juno groundtrack.

Winner Selection
Twelve Io images will be taken. Some will have longer TDI to image the dark side. Jupiter is not in the field of view on the way in, so no approach movie. Expect high resolution of the north polar region.
