Islamic Calligraphy Istanbul Study Tour

This summer, Art of the Pen will be hosting a fourday Islamic calligraphy study tour to the calligraphy capital of the world, Istanbul, Turkey. Calligraphy lovers will have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the art, to follow in the footsteps of the illustrious calligraphers of the past and to learn from distinguished masters of the present.
The programme will include daily one-to-one sessions in Islamic calligraphy, tours with local specialist and renowned calligrapher Efdaluddin Kilic, a visit to a Master calligraphers atelier and a rare opportunity to witness a calligraphers ijazah ceremony. Classes will be held in the historic and beautiful quarter of Old Istanbul, Sultanahmet.

Fee:

300, includes visits to various locations around Istanbul.
