Mathematicians use notebooks to record data, make drawings, ask questions and much more.

We will be using an Interactive Notebook to collect and process information. Our notebooks use a left side and right side to help you organize your learning. The right page includes traditional class assignments: notes, worksheets, etc. On the left side you use the information.

Front of Page
Personal side You interact with the information in a unique and creative way.

Back of Page
Information side You write or glue in information from class (todays lesson).

All pages must have a page number and title. Notebooks must be brought to class every day or stored in the classroom. Number the pages sequentially, Do not remove any pages. Both right and left pages should be numbered. The first pages are reserved for a table of contents, and instructions. Use color to help organize your information. Handouts, foldables and other paper should be glued or taped in place. No staples.
