Statement of Interest

I applied for an admission to master program in Business Administration because I would like a career in controlling and assessing financial position in a business environment. In particular organizations optimizing financial and information management systems to maximize transparency that would affect the competitive performance of a business concern. In order to gain an appreciation of these and related issues, it is essential for me to have strong grounding in business and financial issues connected with business operation, as well as gain a general management perspective. I believe that the MBA program in international business would be valuable in helping me achieve these objectives. It would enable me to channel my quantitative and conceptual skills in analyzing business issues and would open up new avenues within this field. I believe that my background in finance has prepared me for such a career. My four years of BBA in finance education have provided me with a strong grounding in mathematics and the theoretical aspects of financial and business management. Having eight years of professional experience within finance and accounting area, working locally and internationally has broaden my perspective and has improved my career prospects not only in Pakistan but also around the globe. In todays world, where technology has enhanced social and business environment around the world, it is now becoming a faced challenge for authorities to bring transparency and control within the operations. UNBs MBA program in international business is designed to fill this gap and provide expertise within this area and I would feel proud to be a part of such professionalized circle. In addition, it is my personal finding that UNB is one of the top educators in the world and it has impressed people with the facultys reputation for excellent teaching, challenging coursework and excellent facilities available. I hope that the admissions committee finds my background and strengths commensurate with the requirements of the program of MBA in this university. Thanking you in anticipation
