Notebook Format
The following sections are required in your three ring binder.
1. Agenda/ Reflection - The daily agendas with mastery objectives will be
recorded in this section, as well as a reflection to be completed at the end of or
after class.
2. Do Now The Do Now, or opening !estions will be answered every day. The
answers will be recorded in the section !nless otherwise noted. T"#$ $%&T#'N

4. Homework This short section will be a place to write down homewor5
assignments and store wor5sheets or ma5e !p wor5 that needs to be completed for
homewor5.
6. Current Unit- (ny notes, wor5sheets, hando!ts, readings or any paper passed
bac5 that goes with the !nit c!rrently being wor5ed on will be stored here. This
section will be labeled with the name of the !nit and be organi7ed by date.
8. Labs This section will be !sed d!ring planning, pre-lab assignments, lab data
collection as well as res!lts analysis and concl!sions.
9. Finished units (fter the !nit test, all material from the !nit and the tab
labeling that !nit will be moved to the bac5 of the binder. 1o! may also move the
c!rrent !nit tab instead of moving the !nit papers. This will red!ce cl!tter and
searching time when it is necessary to !se material we have already covered in
class. (ll material sho!ld be 5ept in order by date and left in the binder for
reference. #f yo! need to move papers o!t please 5eep a binder at home for the
oldest finished !nits. :eep at least the most recently completed !nit in yo!r
binder.
Formatting papers for your notebook
(ll of the papers in yo!r noteboo5 need to have the following information in the
following places. This is not negotiable and will be a significant portion of the credit for
yo!r noteboo5 chec5 grades. # can not grade a paper if # don;t 5now yo!r name or the
assignment.
