The floor bucket quickly levitated to her mouth as she tried to vomit again.

Her throat was already burning by the time, giving her pain everytime she wants to eat or swallow her medicine. It would stop most of the times during the morning but today, it kept her awake even longer. Spike was more then worried about Twilight and kept an eye on her during the night. He was supposed to sleep downstairs as long as she feels like this but even for his sleepy attitude, he couldnt help but stay awake for her til she falls asleep. Twilight so often had done same for him. He even left some chores undone for the night to keep himself awake. As soon as he heard her put aside the bucket, he slowly walked upstairs. Seeing her like this almost scared him, the way she coughed and spit all the time. Her face was turned towards the window and spike couldnt really check on her condition this way. There was only one thing he could do, the way she was now. He grabbed the bucket, attempting to clean it in the kitchen, then he stopped. "Twilight?" The little dragon asked worriedly. He had no idea. Was she still awake or finally asleep? Not to mention, did she even had any sleep at all? "Hmm?" The unicorn replied dreamful. Spike was relieved at least now. The way she said that, she was half asleep by now. Almost like pinkie pie when she dreamed about the bridecake, days before shining amors wedding. Maybe a good dream had finally sunken to twilight now.

The next day came just as expected for Twilight and she woke up obediently. She still felt sick and the few hours of sleep didnt help either. Spike wouldnt ask her directly what she was up to. She told him before that its confidential but the sickness sure wasnt a coincidence to him. He just tried his best to make her some more solid food to keep her stomach from rampaging again. She took the last train to canterlot and it was already night by the time. She was really late on this one but for the frist time in her life, the fear of getting scolded and even her own strictful manners wouldnt help her to trot faster. The guards stepped aside quickly because they saw this tension in her eyes. She came twice the week after all and even among the guards word always spread quickly. Celestia was waiting for her in a seperate part of canterlot. They just looked at each other without saying a word. The princess didnt mind her beeing late and was just as unpleased by the task as her student was. With one glow of Celestias horn, the room started to activate and held now its own power, reflecting the night sky for some reason.. Twilight prepared herself mentally and stood next to a big, blue orb, right in the middle. Twilight looked in the eyes of her teacher with an unsure expression. The new training demanded much of her but Celestia herself gave her permission to stop everytime she wanted. She just mentioned to her that she reached the right age for this training and as always Twilight was to excited to talk it out of her. She had to learn the hard way that concentration and magical power wasnt the problem in this lesson. Clestia nodded at twilight and her student bagan by placing a part of her on top of the orb, her tail. Both, the orb and twilight, began to shimmer in multiple colors. The princess was amazed as always as she saw the stars and planets moving around her. Twilight never missed her target and even in space her sense of direction, the way she moved her mind between whole galaxies, was remarkable.

A few minutes later, most of the stars vanished behind one, single object.. A blue planet ... Earth! Twilight slowed down as they approched the stratosphere. Celestia knew the earth before and actually, it was the same place they left off after the last session. The magical eye dove deeper into the clouds and for one second they could her the wireless communication the humans developed. The state is unsure, how to proceed against this threat ... ... staying inside ... as the best chance of survival .... There is only one word for this ... Apocalypse! "Now my student, were you able to track the young men down yet?" Her teacher asked patiently. Twilight shook her head while keeping her eyes closed. There was no way to mark him but she could at least sense the living between these ... creatures. He couldnt have gone far. Her mind began to fly over the main street of a rather small city. Cars were burning and the street was occupied with them. There was a slow chance for his survival but then again, he did so last week. "I think I got him!" Twilight bursted out in delight. Celestia gave her an approving look and smiled herself. Even if its just an observation, seeing her student forget the horrors on planet earth made her feel relieved. After all, they knew this young men for quite a while now and he faced these horrors on his homeland all my himself. Sadly, he was only a test subject in some way and he was only observed because he held out the longest. The young men was trapped in a small warehouse. The only thing that separated him from the creatures were walls of thin metal. He laid against on of these, severely wounded and panting. Twilight and celestia were shocked and felt sad for this poor men but they were even more shocked when they the little girl he was holding. They had no idea about human anatomy but they had a small idea how young she must be. A little girl in a yellow summerdress and long black hair. "No wonder he had such a hard time! He probably just found her this week." Twilight pointed out. Even if he is just a human, Celestia gave his heroism a lot of credit. "He could have gone much farther by now ... but as selfless as he is, he most likely only thought about her." Twilight began to check on his condition as long as their are save. The young mean wore thick glasses and had a calming expression towards the girl. His jeans were torn and his dark green shirt drenched in blood. The wound on his arm was already part of him when they began to observe him. He got bitten by one of the creatures and the wound just wouldnt close by its own. This was the plan all along after all. Equestria is a peaceful land and the only threats were those approching from the universe itself. As an alicorn, celestia often looked out for possible threads. Now, its up to twilight to meassure the importance of this infection on earth. The young men was chosen because he was bitten already. He will die eventually but also give celestia a hint about the incubation period.
