Chapter 1 - General Rules in Black Jack Casinos

In Black Jack you play with the dealer, or with one or two players besides the dealer. If you don t have it there are two possibilities : Hit: pull another card Stand: you dont need any more The one getting over 21 is loser (it is called bust). The one is the winner whose card value is higher than that of the dealer, the value is close to 21 or exactly 21. The colors have got no importance in Black Jack. How is the game going on? So the Black Jack has a dealer (together with you) and one, two or three players. You can sign before the game whether you want to play alone or in a team. Before dealing you have to make your stakes: $ 1,5,25 or 100 in the desired value. After the player, you have made the stake, you have to press the button deal so that the dealing can start. In case of group game the round starts when everybody put their stakes and pressed the button deal. Remark: if it seems too fast for you, choose the private table game. The beginning card of the dealer can be seen by each player, upside down with the other color which is covered until stand or bust . The dealer has to pull a card until the value of his cards reaches or exceeds 17 (this fact has got significance at the strategy). If you have Black Jack, that is to say you have a card with value 10 and an ace, you are the winner and get one and a half as much as the stake. If you bet in $ 100 you win $ 150 by the rules and get back 100+ 150= $ 250. If your card is the same as that of the dealer (e.g. each of you has Black Jack) then comes push which means that nobody won or lost.

During the game you can have the following options: Double down double the stake You can double the stake after getting the first two cards, expect Black Jack. In this case the stake of the original betting is automatically doubled. / the sum of the prize as well / Split If your first two cards are the same / e.g. two threes /, you can separate them. Then you get separately new cards to each and you start with two cards combinations. The stake of the original betting is valid for the first combination, although you have to put the same sum as in case of the first. If you can separate two aces you can get only one card to each. If you reach 21 with one of the separated aces, it isnt considered Black Jack, it is only a plain simple 21 . The cards can be separated only once. Push We speak about push, when the players, you and the dealer have got cards with the same value. In this case nobody won or lost, everybody gets their own money back. The game can be continued with new dealing and betting. Insurance If the dealer has got two aces you can bet with a special stake / half of the original stake sum /, that the dealers card upside down is a ten and the dealer has got Black Jack. If the dealers card is not ten you lose the separate stake. If the dealers car upside down is ten you win the insurance in the rate 2:1. But you lose the original betting because the dealers Black Jack takes all other combinations. If the dealer does not have natural Black Jack, then as I have already mentioned you lose the separate stake and the game continues by the usual rules. Attention: If you are not professional yet, do not make insurance. I will speak about it in Chapter 2.

Information about stakes and options

You have to put the stakes on before pressing the button deal . When the round starts deal you cannot change the stake. I mentioned at the beginning that you can change from different options after the dealing. You can double down, or if you have possibility you can split or make insurance. The options can be selected with the buttons. If split is possible, the split button will appear. It is surprising but only few people know that there is a situation in Black Jack when you have a good winning chance, if you ask for 17, or even 18.
