Use: We use the present simple to say what we usually do. Its normally used with expressions of frequency. I always get up at 7 am. We also use the present simple to speak about things that are always or normally true. They sky is blue Note that many >mes we use the present simple in Spanish for other meanings, but NOT in English.

Form: To make the nega-ve sentences we put the auxiliary verb do / does + the nega>ve adverb not before the verb. do / does + not + verb. dont = do not doesnt = does not Contrac>ons: I dont (do not) like coee. My husband doesnt (does not) eat meat.

Form: We use does with the third person singular (he / she / it) and do with the rest of the persons. do / does + not + verb. She doesnt have any children.

In the arma>ve form the third person singular add an s at the end of the verb. It opens at ve.

Present Simple
Form: To make ques-ons we put the auxiliary verb do / does + the subject + the inni>ve of the verb. do / does + subject + verb. Do you like coee? Does Mary go to French classes?

To make it easy to remember the word order you can learn this rule: ASI = Auxiliary verb + Subject + Inni>ve
