Steven Jobs
Steven Jobs was an American entrepreneur, marketer, and inventor, who
was the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple Inc.
Popularly known as the Father of the Digital World.
Born on February 24th, 1955 in San Francisco, California
Parents: biological parents Abdulfattah John Jandali, Joanne Carole Schieble
and adopted by Paul Jobs , Clara Jobs.
Spouse: Laurene Powell Jobs(m. 19912011)
Children: Lisa Brennan-Jobs, Erin Siena Jobs, Reed Jobs, Eve Jobs.
Enrolled in Reed College in Oregon.
Dropped out after one semester.
He died in 2011, following a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Contributions.
Apple Computers.
In 1976 jobs and Wozniak stared Apple Computers and they introduced
rst single board computer with built-in video interface.
Apple II designed in the following year.
Launched LISA in 1983, rst commercial computer use GUI.

In 1984, Apple released Macintosh, the rst PC with GUI.
After a power struggle with the board of directors in 1985, Jobs left
Apple and founded NeXT.
A new computer company based on an object oriented software platform.
The following year Jobs purchased an animation company from George
Lucas, which later became Pixar Animation Studios.
Pixar Studios went on to produce wildly popular animation lms such
as Toy Story, Finding Nemo and The Incredibles.
The studio merged with Walt Disney in 2006, making Steve Jobs Dis-
neys largest shareholder.
Reinventing Apple
In 1996, Apple bought NeXT, and Jobs held the title of ICEO.
First project as CEO was the G4 Cube.
NeXT STEP software was being turned into Mac OS X.
On August 15, 1998, Apple introduced a new all-in-one computer remi-
niscent of the Macintosh 128K: the iMac.
He was nally accepted as the full-time CEO of Apple in January 2000.
9 Jan 2007, Apple Computer renamed as Apple Inc. to reect its shifted
focus towards consumer electronics.
He created a sensation in the world of cellular device with the launch
of rst generation iPhone. It was named the Invention of the Year in
2007 by Times Magazine.
Under Jobs guidance, the company pioneered a series of revolutionary
technologies such as iPod,iPhone and iPad.
He spent his last days designing a boat for his family on which he hoped
to travel the world. Unfortunately, death took him too soon, and he died
peacefully at home on October 5, 2011.
