Ceremony

(Invocation)
Father God, we ask Thy blessing upon these people here
assembled and upon these Thy children who desired to be
joined in Holy Matrimony. Bless this service Oh Lord as we
united these two who have selected their lives to be as
one. These things we have asked in Your name. Amen.
Too Bride and Groom:
X and Y, marriage is one of the most important event of
your life. It must be carefully considered and entered into
with pure love and the desire to care for, help and support
each other. Each of you must remember to place the other
one first and learn to understand, forgive and share all
things. I thereby solemnly charge each of you as you work
for peace and joy in your marriage. If either of you know
any reason why you may not be lawfully joined together in
marriage, speak up now. Being so we shall proceed with this
ceremony. Please join your right hands.
(To Groom)
Y you must give full love and respect to the sanctity of
your home and your wife so that your marriage may grow with
peace, joy and eternal happiness.
(To Bride)
X you must give full love and respect to the sanctity of
your home and your wife so that your marriage may grow with
peace, joy and eternal happiness.
(To Groom)
Do you Y take X to be your lawfully wedded wife and do you
promise before God and these witnesses to love her, comfort
her, honor and keep her in sickness and in health, from
this day forward?

(Y: I Do)
(To Bride)
Do you X take Y to be your lawfully wedded husband and do
you promise before God and these witnesses to love her,
comfort her, honor and keep her in sickness and in health,
from this day forward?
(X: I Do)
Let us pray, Heavenly Father bless these rings, a symbol
of eternity. They are given as a token of the pledge made
by Y and X. Let Thy Blessings ever remind X and Y of the
vows they shall make here today. Amen.
Please grab the rings. Y, Place this ring on Xs fourth
finger of her left hand and repeat after me than say your
vows. With this Ring I Thee Wed.
(Y: With this ring I thee wed. PERSONAL VOWS)
X, place this ring on Ys fourth finger of his left hand
and repeat after me than say your vows. With this Right I
Thee Wed.
(X: With this ring I thee wed. PERSONAL VOWS)
Let us pray: May the protection of almighty God surround
and enfold you. May the peace of God enrich and bless your
union from this forth and forever more. Amen.
In as much as Y and X have pledge their vows of matrimony,
they have joined their hands and have given and accepted
the rings as a token of their pledge. I, Reverend Z, by the
authority invested in me as a minister of God and His Son
Jesus the Christ and in accordance with the laws of this
State, do hereby pronounce you husband and wife.
You may now kiss your bride.
