Software developer for IT Support department; working, from the ground-up, on the development of a web-based application
using ASP.NET, C#, Visual Basic, and DotNetNuke. Write batch files from scripts and small applications in VB and Java to
create scheduling services. Use Microsoft SQL server database to retrieve and record information. Other duties include,
working with a team to create a new interface for existing web applications using DotNetNuke, C# and Visual Basic; create
Java and C# applications.
• Nov. 2007 – Present: Web Developer/Graphics Designer, El Paso, TX
Self employed; web site design and development using HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and SQL. Other duties include the
design and fabrication of graphics for clients, i.e. logos, image manipulation.
• Feb. 2007 – Feb.2008: Help Desk/IT, Collaborative Learning Center UTEP Library, El Paso, TX
Worked with the network department at the library in the University of Texas at El Paso, set up and connected additional
Windows and Mac computers in the library’s main lab; applied operating system images to computers. Other duties included
making network cables, replacing individual computer hardware parts, update and install new software, provide network
services, and help desk assistance with customer service, when working at the front desk.
• Aug. 2007 – Dec. 2007: Research Assistant/Independent Studies, UTEP, El Paso, TX,
Duties included developing software using C# and collaborate with the university’s psychology department. Our goal was to
engineer an application that would allow users to develop research experiments based on the Quake III engine by using only
a graphical user interface. The program would make modifications to the game model’s script files, thus giving them user
defined actions. This would allow the game model to behave in a certain way, depending on the experiment the user would
like to implement.
• May 2003 – Aug.2005: Clinical Support Tech., Providence Memorial Hospital, El Paso, TX
Medical records department; Duties included providing physicians, healthcare specialists, attorneys, insurance companies,
and patients with copies of their own or their patient’s medical records, help maintain and update the patient’s records and
record request status using excel database. Job required superior communication skills and teamwork.

Member of UTEP’s Association for Computing Machinery chapter; attend weekly meetings to discuss job opportunities,
computer science related and software engineering topics.
• OSGS Game Development Group, UTEP, El Paso, TX, Jan. 2007 - present
Member of student group: learn OOP design techniques, principles of game design, project management, and teamwork.
Design and develop video games using C# and the Microsoft XNA framework. The games developed and discussed range
from simple 2D games to more complex 3D games.
