The Signature Editor in Erdas Imagine allows users to create spectral signatures using AOIs. Users select the Classifier tool and then Signature Editor to define a training sample region on an image using the AOI tool in the Viewer. The signature for the class is extracted after the user clicks the Signature Editor button in the window after defining the AOI shape and location.
