Purpose of the Unit
To equip participants with the knowledge and skills to coordinate a
DVI Post Mortem activities in accordance with Australasian
Disaster Victim Identification Standards and jurisdictional
requirements.

Program Structure
The program is an elective of the Disaster Victim Identification
Coordinator competencies.
The program provides participants with knowledge and skills
required to manage and coordinate Phase 2 (Post Mortem) of a
Disaster Victim Identification response.
It covers the coordination of the various steps involved in the
examining and recording of human remains, evidence and property.
