3. Using the Walker application.
4. Analyze the graph.
For the pedometer activity I used the application Walker that
tracks total steps as well as total distance and calories used in each
steps. I entered my height and weight and it automatically estimated
the length of each stride. As the number of steps increased, the
calories burned increased as well. For example; when the number of
steps go up from 600 to 800, the number of calories burned go up from
16.9 to 22.5 (Kcal). This graph shows a positive relationship between
the steps walked and the calories burned. Finally, Walker is a great
application for active people and also for those looking to increase
their activity, with notification to help minimize sitting, various fitness
and health tracking features, a heart rate monitor, calories burned
estimator, and much more.

5. Find the equation of the graph and calculate the number of steps it
would take to burn the number of calories in one slice of a 14 regular
crust Pepperoni pizza which has 340 calories.
From the graph, the equation is y = 6.8857x + 8.9714. The
number of steps person should take in order to burn 340 calories is
about 11,178 steps.
6. What relation can you draw between the number of steps calculated in
Q3 and calories burned?
As the number of steps increased, the calories burned increased.
Also, the one slice of a 14 regular crust Pepperoni pizza has 340
calories that shows high calories and need more effort and energy to
burn it.
