Known Software Incompatibilities
Do not upgrade to Windows 10 if you have any of the software listed in the
Incompatible Apps list.
Hardware Requirements
Free disk space required: 20 GB
Only the following computer models are compatible:
Lenovo ThinkPad: X240, X250, X260, T440, T450, T460, W540, W541 and P50.
Lenovo ThinkCentre: M93p, M900
Lenovo ThinkStation: P500, P510, P700, P710
How to request an upgrade to Windows 10
Go to http://service.tetrapak.com Click Service Catalogue and search for Windows click
Windows 10 Self-Service Upgrade. Click Review & Submit and then Submit. The Windows
10 upgrade will appear in your Software Center shortly after the request is fulfilled.
Preparation
Please make sure that you have done a backup before upgrading to Windows 10 and ensure
that you are connected to the Tetra Pak network and not on VPN. If possible, use a LAN
cable connection instead of a wireless network connection as the upgrade will be done faster
then.

How to start an upgrade to Windows 10
1. Click on Software Center found in the Start Menu under Tetra Pak Utilities
Software Center.

2. There are two ways to access the Windows 10 Upgrade depending on the version of
Software Center on your computer:
Select Applications, type Upgrade to Windows 10 in the search box and
click Upgrade to Windows 10.
Select Operating Systems and click Upgrade to Windows 10.

3. Here you will see what version of Windows 10 that you are upgrading to.
Click Install to continue.
4. The following warning message will pop-up. It falsely states that files will be removed.
This is not the case. Click Install operating system to continue.
5. The environment will now start to prepare for the installation. This step can take a few
minutes to finish processing.
6. The upgrade will continue and takes approximately 60-180 minutes to complete
successfully.

What to do when the upgrade is completed
Follow this guide. Its written for when you receive a new computer, but is also applicable for
this scenario. During the first hours after an upgrade the computer could be a bit slower than
it usually is. This is due to various services and applications that are being installed in the
background. Performance will return to normal after a short while.
