Two people died in a fire in a house in Oldport yesterday morning. The fire started at 3:20 am and was seen by a neighbor, Mr. Aziz, who called the fire brigade. He also tried to rescue the couple but the heat was too great. The fire brigade arrived within five minutes and 20 firefighters fought the fire, bringing it under control. Two firefighters entered the burning building but found the couple dead.
