This supplicatory prayer is one of the thirty-one secret supplications of sacredness (i.e. supplications that are
reported from Almighty Allah directly) that are said for winning this-worldly and the otherworldly requests.
Our master scholars have quoted these supplicatory prayers through connected chains of authority, and some
of them are quoted in Shaykh al-ss Mib al-Mutahajjid and al-Kaf`ams al-Mib. To see all these thirty-
one supplications, it is advisable to refer to al-Balad al-Amn, the Book of Supplications in Bir al-Anwr, and al-
Jawhir al-Saniyyah.
