Cloud Solutions Development
Sanovi™ Engineering is looking for Lead Engineers who will be part of a high-powered
technical team responsible for architecting, developing, enhancing and supporting the
core modules for enterprise disaster recovery and data protection software.
Responsibilities
Own and drive the architecture, design, development, integration, delivery, support and
evolution of the different modules of the product.
Work closely with product management, customer support, field engineering, other
engineering teams, and SQA to continuously evolve and innovate the enterprise-class
recovery planning and automation product
Maintain efficient and effective communication and collaboration with other engineering
teams and SQA to manage dependencies and deliverables between various groups and
ensure end-to-end integration and quality.
Own development and ownership of a robust, safe, securely accessible, highly available,
and highly scalable product that, at the very least, meets customer and end-user
expectations on a regular basis.
Understand customer requirements & expectations and provide feasible product
solutions meeting those expectations in a timely manner.
Professional Background – Required
B.E/[Link]/M.C.A degree from a reputed university
10-12 years of hands-on experience in product design and development
Knowledge and experience in building complex cloud/enterprise-grade software
Experience in designing products using Java in a multi-threaded environment
Strong understanding of OOAD, data structures, and algorithms
Strong analytical skills, problem solving, knowledge of SDLC methodologies, excellent
communication skills, and the ability to innovate
Practical knowledge in technologies like socket programming, SQL programming, shell
scripting and XML
Professional Background – Desirable
Experience in developing products using virtualization, backup, or storage replication
technologies
Understanding of Disaster Recovery (DR)
Knowledge and practical experience in Systems/Network/Storage/Performance
management products or datacenter automation software
Prior experience in leading strong technical teams
Knowledge of SAAS
Demonstrated ability to handle a customer-facing engineering role.
