Table Setting Task Analysis Guide

This sequential lesson plan targets teaching a student to independently set a table with multiple place settings. The student is currently in the acquisition phase of learning this skill. Data will be collected twice per week on the student's accuracy using a task analysis with 14 steps. The goal is for the student to complete the task with 70% accuracy using least to most prompting from gestures to full physical prompts. The plan involves backward chaining the steps so that the student learns the final step first before adding previous steps into the sequence.
