Gastric and duodenal ulcers are two kinds of peptic ulcers.
A peptic ulcer is a sore that’s on the inside of the stomach lining
(gastric) or the upper part of the small intestine (duodenal).
A person can have one or both ulcers at the same time. Having
both types is known as gastroduodenal.
Acid reflux
Also called: GERD, gastroesophageal reflux disease
is a long-term condition where stomach contents come back up into
the esophagus resulting in either symptoms or complications.[5][6] Symptoms
include the taste of acid in the back of the mouth, heartburn, bad
breath, chest pain, vomiting, breathing problems, and wearing away of
the teeth.[5] Complications include esophagitis, esophageal strictures,
and Barrett's esophagus.[5]
Since it may take 1 to 4 days to have full effect, these
products do not relieve heartburn right away.
