Setting Up Your Shopify Store (Checklist)

1. Domain name
2. New email account
3. Instagram Account
4. Facebook Page
5. Order logo from Fiverr
6. Shopify Signup  14-day free trial (affiliate link)
7. Add domain  Manage Domain in Namecheap account (see Shopify instructions)

8. Settings
 General > Currency  USD
 Account > Add staff account for VA
 Payment providers > Add PayPal Express checkout + Stripe
 Payment providers > automatically capture payments (important!)
 Billing > Add credit card details
 Checkout > Accounts  optional, First + Last name, Don’t require confirmation step
 Checkout > Create default policies + skim them to make sure you know what they say
+ make any adjustments you’d like
 Shipping > Add Weight-Based shipping rates, Remove weight from the Sample Box
(important)
 Add sales channel > online store
 Sales channels > Preferences > Add Google Analytics + FB pixel
 Google Analytics  Enable ecommerce tracking
 Google Analytics  audiences

9. Install Shopify Apps


 Oberlo
 Abandonment Protector Plus
 Hurrify (testing a new Scarcity app)
 Optional: McAfee Secure, Zapier, Wheelio, AfterShip, Product Upsell
10. Add Products to import list
 Oberlo Chrome Extension (Aliexpress)
 Name the Product
 Set product price + compare at price
 Choose images
 Check variants
 Push products to shop

11. Write Product Descriptions


12. Set up Abandonment Protector (3 email follow-ups)
13. Set up Hurrify (+ other scarcity / urgency apps)
14. Choose + customize Theme
15. Add logo
16. Design simple Homepage

17. Go Live
18. Test checkout process
