UPSKILL YOUR
FUTURE.
LET OUR COURSES INSPIRE YOU...
For nearly fifty years, Exeter College has been successfully
providing professional and accredited courses for adults living
in Exeter and the wider area. Our experience has shown us that
students who participate in adult education develop a range of
valuable skills which can be transferred to enhance individual
or work-related aspirations. Last year was another year of
award success for the college, with students, staff and the
college as a whole winning numerous awards. One highlight
of the year was the shortlisting of our professional courses in
accountancy for a national award. Our awards are the result of
our great students, working with excellent staff. I do hope you
will consider joining us.
We offer a wide range of courses and apprenticeships from
entry level to degree level, so whether it is progressing in your
career, returning to work, improving your Maths and English,
working toward a degree or taking up a new interest, we will
have a course for you. Details of all our courses running across
the city at college locations can be found on our website:
exe-coll.ac.uk/adults
You can also find information on the website about funding
and support that may be available to you. Advanced Learner
Loans are available for students on eligible Level 3 and Level
4 courses (for further information see page 5). In addition, the
Government still makes some funding available to support
adult learners, without recognised qualifications, to achieve
a qualification. I would encourage you to talk to our adult
adviser to find out about our courses and to see what support
is available.
Please book your place early since many of the courses are
very popular and are filled quickly. I do hope that you decide to
study at our college and that you enjoy your studies.
