CHILD ABUSE
• Act of deliberately inflicting physical
injuries upon a child
• Unreasonable deprivation of child' s basic
needs
• Any act which debases or demeans the
intrinsic worth and dignity of a child as a
human being

Child Sexual Abuse
- includes the employment, persuasion,
inducement, enticement or coercion of a
child to engage in, or assist another person
to engage in, sexual intercourse or
lascivious conduct, or the molestation,
prostitution of or incest with children

old, male or female, uses a child for his or
her own sexual gratification.
