NOTE :
1. The applicant should purchase and hand over to GB agency a water meter conforming to ISO-4064,
Class-B for releasing Connection.
2. Water Connection will be released only after constructing Meter Chamber of size 0.45m X 0.45m (1.5ft
X 1.5 ft) for 15mm dia and 0.75m X 0.75m (2.5ft X 2.5ft) for 20mm to 40mm dia and fixing of Meter
at applicants cost. The applicant has to safe guard the water meter from theft or any tampering.
3. Connection will be released only after constructing Meter Chamber and fixing of AMR Meter.
4. Connections sanctioned under Bulk Category, upto the agreed quantity the rate per KL is
and above agreed quantity will be charged at per KL.
5. The additional length of connection from meter chamber to sump has to be taken up at the cost of the
applicant.
6. Connection will be released only after laying the proposed Main, if lines are not existing and water
supply and sewerage improvement charges are levied.
7. Construction of Rain Water Harvesting structure in the premises where plot area is more than 200
Sq.mts is mandatory.
8. Occupancy Certificate is mandatory for all buildings, however in respect of individual buildings in
plots upto 100 Sq.mtrs with height upto 7mtrs obtaining OC is optional.
9. Connection will be released only after submission of Occupancy Certificate from GHMC or else
connection will be released duly levying the monthly water bill @ 3 times of normal tariff.
10. Obtaining the Sewerage connection is the responsibility of the applicant duly consulting the HMWSSB
& GHMC field officers.If road cutting permission is required for obtaining the sewerage connections,
the applicant shall obtain the same from GHMC by paying requisite charges.
11. Silt chambers are mandatory for all commercial buildings and for all connections under Category-II &
III.
12. Any other supplemental works inside the applicant’s premises relating to release of water supply &
sewerage connection such as dismantling and restoration of ramps, CRS masonry, drilling to sump, etc.
has to be taken up at the cost of the applicant.
13. HMWSSB reserves the right to revise this order at any time if the field particulars are found to be
incorrect.
14. The connection given to the premises does not confer any legal right regarding the property in
question.
15.As per Cir.No.CE(M)/GHMC/TA-11/K1/2018-19/292 Dated 22/05/2018 all the Connection works
which involve Road cutting and Restoration will be executed after 15/10/2018 after receding of
Monsoon.
