Pre-Requisite:
Course Objectives and Outcomes:
First Part Objectives:
Students would be able to
Generate orthographic projections of a simple object
Draw different geometrical constructions
Second Part Objectives:
Students would be able to
Generate views on different angles projections of a fairly complex objects
Recognize different threads, sectional views
Label dimensions
Visualize isometric view of an object from two given orthographic
projections
Ultimate Objectives:
After completing this course the engineering students must have developed the
skills required to read and interpret the engineering drawing of a fairly complex
object and assembly. The course also exposes the students to the universal
conventions of engineering drawing and graphics so as to enable them to
communicate with the other engineers anywhere in the World in the graphic
language.
