QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH

I. PROBLEMS: Comfort Room Problems


II. TITLE: Comfort rooms and its implications to health in the Benthel Asia School of
Technology, Inc.
III. OBJECTIVES:
The researchers will be able to:
a.) Determine then level of safety in the different comfort rooms available in the
school.
b.) List the number of comfort rooms that are out of order or cannot be used,
c.) Assess the learners perception with regards to the unsecured comfort rooms,
d.) evaluate the results gathered in the assessment period,
e.) identify the disadvantages of having an unsecured comfort rooms,
f.) give recommendation to the school maintenance personnel base from the
data gathered during the research study.

IV.FOUNDATION OF THE STUDIES:


A comfort room, is a room with toilets in a public place can be referred to as a
restroom, a comfort station, or a washroom. It can be also be referred to as the ladies’
room and the men’s restroom. As the name implies, is supposed to be a place of
comfort, a personal sanctuary of sorts for those who want to literally relieve themselves
of their daily “burdens”. In this facilities, the comfort rooms in particular are sources of a
anxiety.
Since the researchers have observed that the comfort rooms of this institution
are unsecured, the lock and door knobs in the doors of the cubicles. And what goes on
in there, are subjects that cause many people discomfort or embarrassment. It is really
embarrassing moment when someone walks in on you while you are using comfort
rooms because of the lock might not work. The privacy and safety of every individual of
this institution are important, and it should be protected by ensuring that the cubicle
doors all have working locks that are easy for students of all ages to use.
This study focuses on the unsecured of comfort rooms. The researchers found
out that the comfort rooms of the institution are not safe, that’s why they concluded that
it will be a good research subject. The researchers want to make change to this
uncomfortable comfort rooms because it will lead the learners to have a secured privacy
on their private life. The researchers also aim their research to be successful, because it
is not comfortable to use comfort rooms without safeness of every students, teachers
and staffs in this institution. It can also minimize private issues that will lead to a friendly
institution.
V.BENEFITS:
The researchers aim to help;
a.) the learners, if the research proposal will be solved, students can use
comfort room cubicles without worries of their privacy.
b.) the teachers, same as the benefits on the learners, teachers can also
benefits the secured comfort rooms without worries, and can minimize incidents that
can cause issues happened in comfort rooms.
c.) the school staff, the staffs can also benefit in this solution because
having secured comfort rooms makes their tasks easier to do, by knowing which cubicle
is used by minimize incidents.

VI. HYPOTHESES:
RQ1: What might be the possible happen if the students use the unsecured
comfort room cubicle?
RQ2: What are the incidents happened in the unsecured comfort rooms?
RQ3: Can we prevent incidents in unsecured comfort rooms?
