The Best Day Ever

Yesterday was the best day ever. It was Monday and it was a beautiful
sunny day. My friends and I had a field trip to Grand Canyon. In the
morning, we gathered at school and we departed by bus.

First, we went to the Visitor’s Centre. We met a park ranger and saw a
video about the Grand Canyon. We learned about the plant and the animals
that live in the desert. After that we had a picnic lunch. We ate
sandwiches and drank some orange juice.

After lunch we hiked around the South Rim. We saw a lot of cacti and hot
pink desert flowers. My friend Liam said that he saw a lizard and caught
it. In the evening, we had a very delicious dinner at the Grand Canyon
Square Inn and we also had a party. We danced and sang until we were
tired. Finally, we said goodbye and went to our hotel room to get some
rest. It was so much fun. I was so happy. It was the best day ever.
