Development of Secondary Sex Characteristics

This document contains a detailed lesson plan for teaching students about the development of secondary sex characteristics during puberty. The lesson plan outlines preparatory activities like reviewing a previous lesson on female reproductive systems. It then presents the new topic through videos showing the physical changes that occur in both boys and girls during puberty, such as broader shoulders and bigger muscles in boys, and breast growth and hip widening in girls. Students are asked to identify common changes between males and females using a Venn diagram. An evaluation asks students to list 5 physical changes for each gender. The lesson aims to help students understand and accept the changes of puberty through awareness and proper hygiene.
