Grocery Store App Synopsis

SYNOPSIS

The problem statement:

Online Grocery Shopping is the norm these days. There are lot of successful websites such as
BigBasket.com, askmegrocery.com etc in this space. Purpose of Online Grocery Shopping
system is to allow customer to shop virtually using internet without going to stores. The item
are delivered to customer by the shopkeeper to the address of the customer. Customer can pay
to the shopkeeper by cash on delivery method.

Reason for selecting the topic:

 For those who are disabled and elderly, who cannot get out of the house, people who
don’t have anybody to physically support them, the grocery store app is very useful.
 No need to waste time standing in long queues.
 When we order grocery more regularly and get familiar with all the deals and
discounts, we can avail the benefits during special occasions.

Objectives of the Project:

The main objective of this project is to provide a digital platform to those local retail
grocery outlets who want to make their own brand instead of joining food giants like
Bigbasket, Grofers etc.

Conclusion:

At the end a user would be able to order groceries online and grocery store owner would
be able to serve his customers online easily without any hassle.

Advantages

 For those who are disabled and elderly, who cannot get out of the house, people
who don’t have anybody to physically support them, the grocery store app is
very useful.

Disadvantages

 This application requires active internet connection.


 User needs to put correct data or else it will behave abnormally.
