Thickness Report (New Format)

This report summarizes the results of an ultrasonic thickness survey on underground pipelines. It includes tables showing the line information, component details, original and current thickness readings, calculated corrosion rates, remaining life, and next inspection dates. Notes indicate that where no corrosion was detected, the rate was assumed to match similar lines, thickness readings were reduced by 7% for temperature, and assumptions were made about original thickness where it exceeded current readings. The report was prepared to assess long-term and short-term corrosion rates on the pipelines.

NOTES:

Note 1 : The actual thickness was found more than original thickness, higher corrosion rate was taken as similar with the same line and the same calculated in short term.
Note 2 : The actual thickness was found more than original thickness, so the highest pipe schedule were used as new original thickness
Note 2 : The actual thickness was found more than original thickness,so the original thickness are 12.5% increase.
Note 2 : The actual thickness was found more than original thickness,so the original thickness are 12.5% decrease.
Note : Due to 0.00 mm corrosion allowance, as a result remaining life become negative value. The next inspection date were consider as 10 years interval as per API 570.
Note : Due to 0.00 mm corrosion allowance, the minimum required thickness were deducted by 12.5% from it's design thickness.
Note 2: Temperature correction factor was considered and all actual thickness readings was reduced by 7%.
