ETHICS, DECENCY AND MORALITY ARE THE REAL SOLDIERS.

There are various types of integrity, first being academic integrity.


Academic integrity refers to moral values and ethical values which is
employed by people in education sectors such as teachers and students.
For student, academic integration is important to lay down strong
foundation for future perspective and to build trust in friends and
colleagues. Students must not cheat and plagiarize their assignments or
homework. Next comes professional integrity, which refers to employee or
employed behaving in terms of the ethics set by the company/ institution.

Good afternoon friends.. I am latha here and I am going to give a short


speech about Integrity.. well.. lets dive into the topic..
We all know that “HONESTY is telling the truth to other people, but integrity
is telling the truth to oneself” .. you may be wondering ‘ what is integrity?’
and that’s a good question.. the famous saying I said earlier describes
integrity in a perfect manner.. So, integrity is the completeness a person
feels, when he leads his life in a honest and moral way and it is choosing
wisely between what is right and wrong..
Integrity is the ability to act in ways that are consistent with the values, beliefs,
and moral principles we claim to hold. It’s about doing the right thing, even
when no one is watching; and about courage, honesty, and respect in one’s
daily interactions.  courage, honesty, and respect are part of integrity these
internal strengths enrich our lives.

Integrityis not something one can purely teach to others.. it is more of a virtue that comes from
within us.. it is a valuable possession no one can take away and it is worth to be proud of..

In the academic field , there are a set of moral codes and ethical policies that are to be abided by..
this is known as academic integrity.. it should be developed early in life as it is an essential virtue for
students.. it allowsus to honest even when no one is watching us..
completing ones work without plagiarizing from someones work, not
cheating on homework and assignments, and working ethically are some of
the significant milestones one has to achieve for building up his academic
integrity..
As I have told.. integrity is all about being honest and authentic to oneself
and following a strict set of rules.. Without integrity the world would be
merely anarchy… and the need of integrity is even more crucial in a
pandemic situation like this where we have very limited social contact and
less supervision.. So let us all try our best to develop and cultivate our
integrity and be the best version of ourselves..
