Structure and explanation of the parts of the syllabus

Course Description The description of the courses allows teachers and


students to understand the real context about the
developed course and provides an idea about the
specific approach for which it is applied, that is, what
type of intentionality it intends to carry out in relation to
the conditions of the students or their learning.
Course Objective The objective of the course provides an idea about the
general purpose that is desired to be achieved, it is
usually linked to the learning component where it is
specified in that general aspect that is intended to be
achieved by the students and through the different
teaching-learning methods used.

Specific Objectives The specific objectives provide teachers and students


with the desired results in a particular way in each of
the variables developed in the course, through these
objectives, we can get an idea of the specific topics to
study and the achievements that we can get in this
process.

Course Content It contains the general structure of the course with the
topics and subtopics to be developed throughout the
academic period, it also contains the materials that
should be used to make possible the development of
lacquer one of the activities proposed in order to
achieve the learning objectives initially raised.
This step also serves as a guide for the tutors to orient
themselves on each of the activities to be developed
and the topics that must be addressed in a sequential
and structured way.
Course References Here, both teachers and students can identify reliable
sources that will allow access to information related to
the topics addressed for the development of academic
activities. References allow teachers to prepare
classes, recommend activities to students and access
a variety of material to achieve the learning objectives
initially proposed.
Suplementary Instructional This type of supplementary materials allows students
Materials to be Used and teachers themselves to know some additional
sources or tools for the development of activities or
access to material necessary to achieve the learning
objectives.
This material is also very useful for students with
learning problems because it helps them reinforce
their knowledge in a variety of ways.
