Main Point:

1. Late Salary 15-25 of month


2. No clear description of terms & policy
3. Bad Environment
4. You have to clean your own dishes , open the gates. If any guest come to office you may asked
to prepare tea for them , use room fresh & turn on ac etc. I never faced that but others does.
5. You will get ½ roll of tissue paper & coffee if it finish most of time we have to wait for 2 weeks
and ask for it then they delivered. Clean the washroom once in a month sometimes in 3 months
too.

8. Treated as like a slave(I had never face until I resign without me everyone face it)
9. False promises & he will never give any written document of increment or any of his statement.
10. Salary deduction of late in office even if it’s 1-5 min
11. Management has no clear idea about technology & employee are never trusted
12. Always threat developer about that he(MD) will case against employee about cybercrime that’s
how he keep developer engage in office so that they can’t resign.
13. Most of the employee resign within 4/5 months .
14. You will never get increment if you are not about to resign.
15. You can’t take break while working , can’t leave your desk except for the break time.
16. No fixed office time. Someone on same designation work upto 6,7 or 9 PM it’s kind of like
bargaining if you can bargain you are a winner. My office time was upto 8 PM later it was 7 PM .

Description:
I had joined this company in December 2018 . Job was posted in cse/eee group & also LinkedIn someone
in my contact give the company my number I told him that I’m looking for job as a React Developer
though as far my concern company was looking for someone as a Lead .

Oli Ahad(Managing Director) sir told me that they are looking for React Js Developer too so I had
applied for the post I will attach the screenshot below .

During the interview they had asked me about Laravel related question I had clear knowledge about it
though I hadn’t mentioned anywhere my cv about laravel. He confirmed me the job & told me that he
will not give me any position currently like junior , senior or any department. I had asked about how may
employee was in the company answer was aroud 10-15 people . And Salary will be given in 1-10th

Of the month. I told him that my expectation salary 50 thousand he(MD) bargain & was fixed around
40 thousand as a React js developer as he ensure me that I will get 50 thousand after the probation
period which was 6 months & also I will get eid bonus. I had asked for appointment letter then only I will
join but didn’t get the appointment letter.

After joining MD sir introduced me as a Lead Engineer I was pretty surprise as I had applied for the post
of React Js Developer. I was surprised & also shocked that frankly speaking I don’t have that experience
of being a Lead Engineer. And also there was only 2 junior developer in the office though the claim that
there’s 10 Software Engineer in the technical team .

After 6 days on 6th December 2018 I got my appointment letter but there was nothing much mentioned
about the company’s term condition or salary policy .

After joining I got to know that I had to work till 8 PM where others will work 10 a.m -7 p.m. & also
salary will cut off if I am delay even a single minutes that mean if I had sign in office after 10.00 a.m 3
days in a month 1 day salary will cut off. I had no option then to leave the job.

But after 3/4 months he give me the privilege to work 10.00-7.00 P.M also never cut my salary as I was
coming from Uttara to Elephant Road but for other’s colleague’s salary cut rules apply and every one of
them was frustrated.

As he was pleased with my work I got extra benefit always but I had seen others to suffer. Even we don’t
have the permission to talk or discuss with one another. We haven’t any permission to go out for launch
& purchase something ourselves.

One day I was checking old software as there was no other employee then the 3 of us I found the system
buggy & mentioned that to the MD as my reporting boss was Managing Director . Even there was a time
we need to write in excell sheets what we are doing everyday.
When Managing Director got to know that the system was buggy he use slang including their parents
name. Then all of us decided to resign but I had a family issue so I can’t and the GM come say sorry on
behalf of MD . They left then new recruitment was process 3 new developer was recruited on false hope
& promises.

I was continuously trying my best to let him know about the software industry culture & some of the
issues was solved like now we have permission to go out & purchase our own food as there wasn’t any
office boy but there was office boy before.

We never get our salary on time . Most of the time salary was given after 15th of the month I had seen
some people getting the money on 24th of the next month. After getting late salary some people who
came from distance they got 5/10 minutes late and for that salary was cut off . Even I had experience of
4 thousand salary cut off my own too but that was adjusted as I was favourite of MD .

It’s not like they had no earning or they can’t afford them as a part of Fancy Group they had enough
money to pay just 3-5 of us, besides by the time we had our own clients too who paid monthly. If we
need salary on 10th of month we need to write an application for early salary. I heard that in one year 26
employee was resigned though at a time only 2/3 employee is assigned in the office so they plan that
salary will be given after 15th of the month so that any employee leave the office he already worked 15
days extra .

There’s thousand of issues in this office when we heard that they applied for BASIS membership thought
that now may be we can get weekly 5 days as when I joined the MD ensure me after 6 months he will
make the office 5 days.

The funny thing is that when someone from basis come to Planet Hack couple of more PC was setup ask
we were instructed that if anyone ask we need to tell him that they are on leave.

Planet Hack never worked with Bangladesh Army but when the website was developed MD told me to
use Bangladesh Army logo on the website. If someone from Bangladesh Army see that I was pretty sure
he wlll put the blame on me that’s why I was scared. We all have that kind of experience he always put
blame on others. I’m attaching the screenshot of the websites.

Every employee in the office suffer for late salary. He never mentioned about the salary delivery date or
salary cut off policy. And as technical interview was held by me I had no permission to talk about the
salary part and I think that’s fair too. He told everyone of us that salary will be given within 10th of
month but we never received except during the eid though we had to work on overtime in Ramadan
even junior engineer worked before the eid day around 10 P.M. As I had an accident and fracture during
the Ramadan I was on leave.

We were supposed to get bonus as he mentioned when each of us joined but we didn’t as he added new
rules that you will get bonus after one year. And my salary wasn’t increment too . One of the employee
asked for the policy paper he said that it will be hang on the notice which was never done. And MD
misbehave with him as he ask for that again.

Without me no employee received appointment letter as this company has no policy about giving
appointment letter. While joining if any employee ask for appointment letter he would say please you
join now our HR on leave when he comes we will give you that & some other excuse he technically avoid
these thing .

When I joined after two days there was a meeting with the ex lead engineer where a Lawer was present
& he was threatened very badly I had no idea then what was going on later I got know the reason. I can
give thousands of reason not to join in this company.

The situation got worst day by day we even don’t have the courage to say that we wanna leave the
company as we saw how he behave with someone.

On 2019th of December it’s been 1 year so I think now I can ask for resign if he increase the salary &
allow me 5 days I will stay. Truly I don’t face that much of issues he was almost well behave & provide
me the facility but I can’t take how he behave with other employee. I forgot to mention I was the first
employee who stay more than 5 months which was highest record. I had family responsibility I can’t
leave the job suddenly & as I wasn’t doing much of technical work I lost my confidence actually we lost
our confidence to switch besides scared of his misbeheve we were mentally sick now I can tell .

And may be he was addicted as I smell alcohol 2/3 times. One day may be he was drunk & misbehave
with the program manager who was joined as a system admin though as like my case . He shouted with
the program manager & of course use slang.

Next day I had printed resign letter on my hand he enter the room suddenly started to shout &
misbehave with me that I didn’t update him with the work but I always update him , he misbehave with
me mentioned that I never text him good morning . As I was saying we were so much under pressure we
even stopped even thinking. But 3 of us I can say we had developed & delivered work beyond of our
imagination. He was asked to deliver any kind of system in 7/15 days. It was very tough to manage &
convince him to deliver the product in 1 month 3/6 month was way too for him .

We had developed a Sales Automation system in 47 days we will never forget the trouble. 1st thing we
never get any requirements just he will name the application & we need to developed for him. After
completing thousands of requirements will come. There is no one for frontend , database , ui/ux as I had
experience of them I used to do that including the server maintenance, documentation even client
support too . There’s days when I had worked upto 2 a.m and on the next day I had to present at 10 a.m.

As I was saying he misbehave & I give him the resignation later he was shouting & trying to tear it apart
may be he was so drunk that’s why he couldn’t.
After 2 days he asked me why I’m leaving I told him each & everything. All of the team think for the
company’s good. They allowed me 5 days & ensure he will hire more developer & our salary will be
given in 10th of the month .

But never see that implemented salary was cut off due to late entry though I never suffer that & I was
rarely late.

And every time we need to ask for salary we never get the salary asking 5/6 days in a row . We need to
run after the so called HR mainly he was a salesman of Fancy Beauty Concept shop.

I had asked for 6/7 days may be for my salary(February salary). On the march 15 to 23th of march I
asked for salary & the so called HR I mean the salesman of Fancy keep me waiting everyday minimum
half an hour and then he told me that I should come next day to collect money. During the pandemic
bus was limited & risky so I had to hire CNG from Uttara to Elephant Road as a matter of that I was run
out of money and even I had mentioned that to HR I couldn’t come tomorrow if you don’t pay me he
was damn care .

During the pandemic most of the Software Company were remote based we had asked him to make the
office remotely but his misconception was that work can’t be done remotely. Though I had mentioned
him about the application & software how to maintain developer. I had add him on slack , git & others
platform but he always force us to write in diary what we are working & what have we done today.

When the govt. declare about the lockdown we got relief that now we can get off day so we were in
holiday.

For my case as I didn’t get my salary from February to May .I keep avoiding the message from MD. It
wasn’t a good behavior of me I admit it but the way he behave he didn’t pay me in 4 months whenever I
asked for salary he kind of avoid it & told me to collect I went to office so many days but didn’t receive
any portion of my salary but he always keeps me under pressure with new project. So kind of I got
frustrated & decided not to continue my job & on the last day before the lockdown I had told the HR I
will not continue my job until I get paid . There’s always a communication gap between the HR & MD so
HR didn’t inform the MD about the issue .

On the 3rd of june MD asked us to come to office & he directly asking me that will I continue my job or
not as I wasn’t replying his text. Then I replied that it’s not possible to continue my job during the
pandemic as we have to work physically besides I didn’t received my payment. Then suddenly he got
crazy and started shouting at me using his one and only weapon slang including my parents I was just
speechless I had almost cried that day. I had seen lot’s of employee in this situation but today I faced
this personally. This is the reason why we can’t resign so far. Even he jump out of his chair come near to
me and he was about to hit me. He threatened me & my family he will see me & make sure that I don’t
get job anywhere.

As per my responsibility I had handover everything I had of that office. That they after office he said he
is sorry he got crazy he shouldn’t do this etc etc. So on the july I had complete the unfinished project
from home still I didn’t get my salary.
I had texted him last week as I got to know he was effected by COVID-19 & then the GM called me that if
I can come to office on Wednesday 1 july. The date was fixed by him I was present there at 11 a.m he
kept me waiting 1 hr & then told me that he can’t pay me today. No idea why did he called me to meet
him in office. When he called I had mentioned that will I get my salary on that day he ensure me yes.
May be they get fun by harassing people. On 1st july he told me he will text me to collect money but only
for February. I would like to mention it’s not like that they hadn’t money this is their nature . I had
developed their system & I had access of the system untill I resigned from just the elephant road branch
fancy everyday transaction is around ½ lakh per day.

One of my colleague was sick so he couldn’t attend the office 4 days. During the pandemic everyone is
scared they were attending office & as he got fever didn’t attend the office so office cut his 8 days
salary. They didn’t get the salary of March as far I know. And of course we will not get the salary April-
June.

There’s more like worst experience I had faced that I can’t remember right now but I can say this is the
worst office in Bangladesh specially in terms of Software Company. I don’t know how BASIS certified
them.

Worst environment unhygienic.
