CREATING NEW PROJECT

1. Click on “create new project”

2. Change the detail

1) Change the name of project


2) Directory of file to be save
3) Browse the directory
3. Chose the unit for the project

4. Select the PI&D standards


5. Select the directory of project file

6. Select the database used

 SQLite local database - usually used for personal project


 SQL Server database - usually used for project that involve many department
7. Finish
OPEN PROJECT

1. Click on “open Project”

2. Choose the project

1. Select the directory of the project


2. Choose the “[Link]” document to open project
CREATING A STRUCTURE

1. Choose the structure tab

2. Change the setting of details


3. Choose the view of model

Creates a structural members

Creates a structural grid

Creates a railing

Creates a plate or grating

Creates a ladder

Creates a footing

Creates a stair
CREATING AN EQUIPMENT

1. Choose “create” from the equipment tab

2. Change the equipment details

3. Change the equipment tag and description
3. Insert the coordinate of the equipment

4. Modify the equipment

Right click at the equipment

Choose the “modify equipment”


5. Add a nozzle

Right click on the equipment

Click the symbol

Fill the table with nozzle detail


CREATING A PIPE ROUTINE

1. click on pipe tab

2. Assigned the pipe tag


3. Change the elevation of pipe
COMBINED A DRAWING

1. Choose the insert tab

2. Choose the drawing to attach

1. Click the “Isos” tab

2. Production iso - for assigned pipe isometric
3. Quick iso - for unassigned pipe isometric

2. View the iso

 Click the “Isometric DWG” to view the isometric created


CREATING ORTHOGRAPHIC VIEW

1. Click the “Create Ortho View”

2. Rename the orthographic drawing


3. Select the view projected

4. View the orthographic drawing

 Click on Orthograpic DWG tab to view created drawing
