2021 ARTS MONTH CELEBRATION

1. As per Proclamation No. 683, s. 1991 the month of February is declared as
NATIONAL ARTS MONTH, where the disciplines of theatre, dance, music, arts, and
film need to be preserved and enriched. The Theme for 2021 National Arts Month
Celebration is “ALAB SINING, ALAY SIGLA ” which aims to provide opportunities for
artists /teachers to harness creative energies in uplifting the nation’s spirit in this
time of pandemic.
2. In this regard, SDO Camarines Sur will celebrate The 2021 Virtual Arts Month
Celebration on February 27, 2021 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
3. Each Congressional District shall submit a 30 minutes recorded video in theatrical
presentation featuring HARANA using bikol songs and dances. The recorded video
presentation shall be submitted to the technical committees on or before February
24, 2021.
4. District MAPEH/CULTURAL Coordinators (Elementary and Secondary),members of
the Technical Working Group are advised to report by congressional District to the
following dates and venues at 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for face to face planning
conference following the IATF Health Protocols.
