I. Objectives
By the end of this lesson, the learners should be able to:
a. recognize propaganda techniques through a detailed discussion;
b. compose an informative advertisement by a group using propaganda devices;
and
c. distinguish the kinds of propaganda speeches by watching Filipino-made
advertisements.

a. Preparation

2. Checking of attendance.
3. Motivation
- The teacher will show an interesting and humorous advertisement that
serves as the opening for her lesson.

b. Presentation
1. The teacher will play her PowerPoint presentation about her lesson and
post her visual aids.

c. Discussion
1. The teacher will ask students if they have any background knowledge about
propaganda techniques.
2. The teacher will ask where the students specifically encountered such
techniques.
3. The teacher will ask students to name any propaganda techniques.
4. The teacher will ask the importance of such techniques in promoting
informative advertisements.
5. The teacher will ask how these techniques impact in catching the
audience’s attention.
d. Generalization
1. The teacher will discuss that the propaganda is a form of communication
that aims to persuade and influence the perspective of community in toward some cause
or position by presenting only one side of an argument.
2. The teacher will proceed to the propaganda techniques which are:

IV. Evaluation
1. The teacher will flash some Filipino-made advertisement that will highlights
some propaganda techniques.

V. Assignment
For our next meeting, a short essay should be presented in class tackling the importance
