Special greetings to out highly respected, most energetic, handsome, amiable,

and loving director principal, _______________, to our kind, openhearted, considerate

and beloved assistant principal, _____________. To our hardworking teachers, parents,
guests, and fellow letranites. It is with deep honor that I, __________ of Grade
_____________, welcome each and every one of you to (School’s Name) 4 th Annual
Moving Up Ceremony S.Y. 2018-2019.

For these past 4 years there have been countless challenges that we needed to
overcome, be it academic, athletic, or personal. Hence, it is an impressive achievement
for each of us to have made it here today. However, I would like to take a moment to
acknowledge those whoa have helped us reach where we are today, because truth be
told, none of us would be here today without them.

To our dearest parents who are present here today to support us, as they always
have. Parents, though we don’t often show it and maybe some of you are already
thinking to get us out of the house ------- I hope not ------- We are truly grateful for all that
you have done for us, and are delighted that you are here to share this celebration with
us.

To our hardworking and ever youthful teachers who are also here with us today,
who gave their utmost dedication to their students to ensure their success. We are also
thrilled to share this celebration with all of you. I would also like to acknowledge the
administration that has been vital to our success at (School’s name) including ______,
our director principal, ________, our assistant principal, ________, our guidance
counselor, and our __________, all of whom have worked strenuously to get all of us to
where we are today.

Through their joint efforts with the support of one another and by the grace of
God, whose presence we recall several times each day, we have survived these past
four years. But more than just survive, we have thrived here at (school’s name). More
than just completing our studies, we’ve become an essential part of the (school’s name)
Community. We’ve won competitions, achievements, challenges, and hardships. With
this vast amount of time we’ve spent together, we have gotten close from staying after
class for practices to bonding with each other every free time we have.

By just looking around this assembly, we can pick out the faces of those friends
who have been with us through the best and the worst and those people who will be our
lifelong friends thanks to our shared experiences here at (school’s name).

As we students know very well from our time spent here, (school’s name) is a
Catholic School that follows in the tradition of the _____________________ ideals of
faith, hope, and love. Our education here at (school’s name) is rooted in the gospel
values and teachings of Jesus. In short, (school’s name) has not just nourished our
minds but also our spirits and enriched not just our brains but our hearts as well. As
Nelson Mandela once said and I quote “A good head and a good heart are always a
formidable combination”.

In lieu with this, we are here to celebrate the moving up ceremony of an

outstanding batch. A batch brimming not only with knowledge but with compassion,
determination, and ambition. Thank you and once again welcome to (school name) 4 th
Annual Moving Up Ceremony S.Y. 2018-2019.
