A. Expose
EQ: How do we distribute documents and media files efficiently?
EU: The efficient distribution of documents and media files is done
through practicing safety and responsibility.
I. Google Jamboarding - Internet Surfing
1. Divide the class into two groups.
2. With the use of the internet, research about the ways of sharing
information.
3. Organize their ideas through constructing a graphic organizer in a
Google Jamboard.
4. Discuss the ways of sharing information in front of the class
After the reporting, ask them the following questions:
a. What are the ways that are common to other group?
b. Which of those ways you often do?
c. Why do you think we share information?
B. Explore The teacher will discuss that all can share information through different
ways that made everyone to collaborate with people around the globe.
Information Sharing, or in computer terms,
File Sharing is the transmission of files including computer programs,
documents, videos, images and etc.
Through slide presentation, teacher will explain ways of sharing
information and some of these are through:
a. Removable storage devices – refers to external drives that
can be detached from the computer unit
b. Computer Networks – refers to connected computers in a
local area
c. Online File Sharing – allows us to access and information
online
After presenting the ways of file sharing, teacher will discuss the types
of File Sharing.
Peer to Peer Sharing – a sharing that uses an application that links users
to the networks to access the shared files. e.g. Skype
Removable Storage Media- a type of sharing that involves a removable
storage instrument that transfer files to other computer. e.g. Flash drive,
Removable Hard drive, Floppy Disc
Cloud-Based Sharing – A type of sharing that uses servers offered by
service provider in order the user to transfer files to others using Internet
Connection
e.g. Microsoft One Drive, Google Drive
