II. BACKGROUND

The project intended for the 141 underemployed/ self-employed/ displaced workers in
the City of Isabela de Basilan whose livelihoods were affected due to the implementation of Modified
General Quarantine Against Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

III. OBJECTIVE
The program aims to augment the beneficiaries’ income and eventually alleviate condition of
the families from the effects of COVID 19 pandemic crisis. With the help of the various partners,
(NGOs, POs, government agencies & other private sector). The ACP envisions that this TUPAD Program
will eventually benefit the would-be workers temporarily overcome the effects of the COVID-19
pandemic in the City of Lamitan, Province of Basilan.
