Good or Bad?. Journal of English Education, 3(2), 78-88.

In this article Nurhamidah and friends discuss about how code switching applied on the
English for foreign language (EFL) teaching and learning process. The author use data and
experiment from one teacher and 30 students in one of university in Surakarta, the research
method used in this article is qualitative descriptive. Their research is focused on how code
switching are occurred and applied on the (EFL) classroom. This article is useful to give
information about is it good or bad if code switching occurred in (EFL) classroom and it's
function in classroom. The limitation of this article is that the article only discuss about how
code switching intensively used in the classroom by teacher and students. The authors have
served information about how code switching intensively occurred in the (EFL) classroom
but need futher information about it. This article perform the basic information of code
switching for (EFL) classroom and it will be useful for giving information to us in code
switching.

Aisha Bhatti, Sarimah Shamsudin & Seriaznita Binti Mat Said (2018). Code-Switching: A
Useful Foreign Language Teaching Tool in EFL Classrooms English Language Teaching;
Vol. 11, No. 6

Aisha in this article discuss about the teacher use of code switching as a language teaching
tool in (EFL) classroom. The author use data of survey and experiment from teachers by
interview from some Pakistan universities to know how the teacher use a foreign language as
a tool in (EFL) classroom. This research focus on searching how teacher use a foreign
language teaching tool in EFL classroom to teach English language. The article is useful for
giving information of how code switching qualitatively applied in teaching learning process.
The main limitation of the article is the article only discuss the teacher perspective of code
switching in (EFL) classroom. The author have perform data of code switching based on
teacher perspective with futher more research. This article not perform a basic form of code
switching to help my research but it useful as bank of data to give information about code
switching.

 Third Article

Martin Kustati (2014). An Analysis of Code-Mixing and Code-Switching in EFL Teaching of


Cross Cultural Communication Context; Vol. 21, No. 3

In this article Martin discuss about an analysis of code mixing and code switching in EFL
teaching cross cultural communication context. The author use data to build the idea from
observtion checklist from undergraduate program of English at UIN Imam Bonjol. The
research method used in this article is qualitative with observation directly from the object.
The research focuses on how the students used some types of code switching and code
mixing in the classroom whether the use of the code mixing and code switching is on target
or not through cross cultural communication context. This article is useful to give information
about code mixing and code switching and how to use it in cross cultural communication
context in the EFL classroom. The limitation of this article is the author didn't discuss about
the code mixing and code switching but just the types of code mixing and code switching.
The authors have served the information of the analysis of code mixing and code switching
by it types through cross cultural communication context but just need a little information to
complete it. This article perform the analysis of code mixing and code switching and it is
useful to give more information of code mixing and code switching.

In this article Indah discuss about an analysis of code switching in EFL teaching and the use
of code switching and it's function in EFL classroom context. The author use data to build the
idea from observtion and data colective from some teacher who teach code switching in
university and teachers from elementary and junior high school. The research method used in
this article is qualitative descriptive directly from the object. The research focuses on how the
teacher teach code switching in EFL classroom, how to use code switching in classrooms and
it's function for teacher to teach English by code switching. This article is useful to give
information about code switching and how to use it in EFL classroom and the functions of
code switching in classrooms. The limitation of this article is the author only discuss and
served basic information of code switching and didn't served any futher more information
about it. The authors have served the information of the code switching, how to use it in EFL
classroom to teach English and it's functions, but need more futher information to complete
it. This article perform code switching, the use of code switching and it's function and it is
useful to give more information of code switching.

Horasan, S. (2014). Code-switching in EFL classrooms and the perceptions of the students
and teachers. Journal of Language and Linguistic Studies, 10(1), 31-45

In this article Horasan discuss about an analysis of code switching in EFL classroom and the
perceptions of the teacher and students about code switching in EFL classroom. The author
use 43 sampling data to build the idea through observtion and quistioners and interviews
some random sampling data from teacher and students who involve in EFL classroom. The
research method used in this article is qualitative descriptive by doing quistioners and
interview directly from the object. The research focuses on investigate the amount of code
switching in terms of essentials levels which occur in EFL classroom that use by teacher and
students in learning process. This article is useful to give information about code switching
and how to use it in EFL classroom and how code switching involve and give differences in
EFL classroom. The limitation of this article is the author discuss about code switching and
served information of how code switching involve in the EFL classroom and give differences
to whom use it or not. The authors have served the information of the code switching, how
code switching are involve and give differences, but need more futher information to
complete it. This article perform information of code switching, how it involve and give
differences to whom use it and it is useful to give more information of code switching.

In this article Azam and friend discuss about the analysis of code switching and the use of
code switching for English as a foreign language learners in EFL classroom and it's
application in L1 EFL classroom. The author use data to build the idea from students who
studying English for foreign language in Oxford institute that were total 27 students through
quistionaire. The research method used in this article is qualitative descriptive by doing
quistionaire directly to the object. The research focuses on how the application of code
switching in L1 English for foreign learners and determine the effects of using L1 in an EFL
classroom. This article is useful to give information about code switching and how the
application of code switching for English for foreign learners in the classroom and the effects
that might be determine from the use of L1 in EFL classroom. The limitation of this article is
the author discuss about code switching and served information of how the application of
code switching in L1 for English for foreign learners and the effects of it in EFL classroom.
The authors have served the information of the code switching, how the application of code
switching for L1 English for foreign learners and the effects of it in EFL classroom. This

In this article Natassa and friend discuss about the analysis of code switching and the use of
code switching from foreign language (L1) to the target language, the use of L1 while
teaching the L2 in EFL classroom. The author use data to build the idea from recent studies
and the literature review before to support this idea of the article. The research method used
in this article is quantitavie, the data was taken from recents research studies and research and
literature review before. The research focuses on whether code switching in an EFL
classroom environment occurs because of the difficulties learners have when communicating
from one language to the other, whether having a native teacher helps students or not and
how code switching is influenced by several factors, such as the speakers’ age. This article is
useful to give information about code switching and how the code switching apply and
involve in EFL enviroment. The limitation of this article is the author discuss about code
switching and served information of code switching involve in EFL classroom and help
teacher teach L1 while they teach L2 in EFL enviroment. The authors have served the
