SERIES OF 2019

A RESOLUTION CONDEMING THE ACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES OF THE COMMUNIST


PARTY OF THE PHILIPPINES-NEW PEOPLES ARMY (CPP-NPA). ITS FRONT GROUPS AND
AFFILIATES IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE COUNTRY AND DECLARING THEM AS “A
PESRSONA NONGRATA”

WHEREAS, the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army (CPP-NPA) has
continuously advocated and committed violent attacks both against persons and properties of Governmental
entities aim private citizens.

WHEREAS, it has been observed that the Communist Party of the Philippines New People’s Army-
National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF) including its leaders and supporters continuously infiltratets the
youth, teachers and labor sectors at can be utilized to possibly commit crimes and other forms of lawlessness,
oppression and harassment in different parts of the country:

WHEREAS, not with standing the previous declaration of the Province as Insurgency Free; CPP-
NPA and its front organizations did not stop from trying to re-establish and strengthen their position in the
Province. Through concerted efforts of the Local Governments Units, AFP, PNP and the community the
advances made by the CPP-NPA have been checked and adverted.

WHEREAS, despite sincere efforts from the Government to reach out and make peace with the CPP-
NPA, they have incessantly spurned such overtures and continuous to advocate the use of force to destabilize
and topple the Government without regard to the interest of the people.
WHEREAS, the Province strongly abhors the use of violence, threats, and intimidation made by the
CPP-NPA in the pursuit of its agenda and recognize their presence a hindrance to further the peace and
development in the Province:

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad Ronillo Bermudez, duly seconded by all the members
present, be it:

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, that the copies of this resolution condeming the actions and
activities of the communist party of the Philippines. New People’s Army (CPP-NPA), its front groups and
affiliates in different parts the country and declaring them as PERSONA NONGRATA, be, as it is hereby
approved.
