ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Exercise 1 Create a SLOGAN inside the box in connection to environment


management. Explain it in eight (8) or more sentences.

EXPLANATION:
The biodiversity of an ecosystem contributes to the sustainability of that
ecosystem. The higher the biodiversity of an ecosystem, the more
sustainable it is. Biodiversity is essential for sustainable development and
human well-being. It underpins the provision of food, fibre and water; it
mitigates and provides resilience to climate change; it supports human
health, and provides jobs in agriculture, fisheries, forestry and many other
sectors. However, too much consumption of an ecosystem can lead to
biodiversity loss. So, through adopting an eco-friendly and promoting
biodiversity can be one of the ways for environmental management. Eco-
friendly products promote green living that help to conserve energy and also
prevent air, water and noise pollution. They prove to be beneficial for the
environment and also prevent human health from deterioration.
Exercise 2 Let’s Clean
Direction: Clean your home and surroundings. Take photos before, during
and after cleaning. Place the picture before, during and after the cleaning
inside the box.

1. As a youth enrolled in NSTP with unique identity, give at least five (5)
services contributory to national development. Make a short description for
each service.
 Guarantee Public Safety and Achieve Good Governance- the strategy
begins with the determination to protect the nation against the range of
threats that directly impact on the safety and welfare of the Filipino
people.
 Mitigate the Impact of Health-Related Threats- health security today
demands greater attention than before. The case of global travel has
increased the risk of rapid spread and contamination, as well as
challenged existing containment protocols.
 Develop a Dynamic, Inclusive and Sustainable Economy- the issues of
globalization such as economic integration and increasing competition
have called for the development of strategic industries in the country
pursuit of rapid economic development and comprehensive national
security.
 Achieve Food and Water Security- despite the abundance of water in
the country, there has still been a decline of fresh water supply in many
parts of the country due to decades of resource mismanagement.
 Safeguard and Preserve National Sovereignty and Territorial- the
Philippines shall implement a strong independent foreign [Link]

dynamics and how government efforts should be prioritized.

2. Write your personal prayer for victims of insurgency and COVID pandemic.

Dear Almighty God,


You showed your strength and compassion by healing people of all ages
and walks of life who were suffering from physical, mental, and spiritual
ailments. Now is the time to be there to those who are in need of Your
loving touch as a result of COVID-19. May they sense Your healing power via
the doctors and nurses who care for them. Take away persons who are
having treatment or are under quarantine's worry, anxiety, and feelings of
isolation. Give them a reason to care about their health and prevent others
from contracting the sickness. Protect their loved ones and bring tranquility
to all who care about them.
