Documents to Carry -
Originals

❑ Aadhar Card/Passport

❑ Other Valid ID ( Pan Card/Driving License)

❑ Admission Letter

❑ Transcripts: Marksheets/Degree Certificates

❑ Work Experience Certificates/ Pay slips

❑ Other Bona-fide certificates

❑ Certificates proving top 5 achievements –


Academic/Extracurricular

Note:
❑ 1 or 2 Folders for all your certificates

❑ Make two sets of photocopies of all your documents


(one copy for yourself)

❑ It is advisable to keep scans of all the documents.


Clothing

❑ Jeans – 3 or 4 pairs
❑ T-Shirts – Regular college wear
❑ Hoodies - 2 light hoodies/cardigans
❑ Traditional wear - Kurtas (Can pack a saree for festivals)
❑ Party wear - 2-3 party wear (Can pack dresses)
❑ Hostel wear – Comfortable clothing
❑ Formals – 3 Formal Shirts/Trousers (for presentations, guest
lectures etc) IMPORTANT
❑ Blazer - 1 Formal blazer or suit (for presentations, guest lectures
etc) IMPORTANT
❑ Ties: 1-2 Neck-ties
❑ 6 pairs of Underclothes (Upon your hygiene)
❑ 3-4 pairs of night clothes
❑ 3-4 pairs of track pants/shorts and old clothes
Footwear

❑ Shoes - 1 pair Formal leather shoes and shoe polish ( Shouldn’t be


open toed) IMPORTANT
❑ Heels (Optional)
❑ 1 pair of Sports Shoes/ Sneakers.
❑ 1 pair of Slippers/sandals (to wear around the hostel)
❑ 1 pair of sturdy water proof sandals (Heavy rains in some
months)
❑ Socks – at least 3 pairs
Medicines

Though there are first aid kits available at every hostel, these are
suggested just for emergencies:

❑ Basics: For headache/Stomach ache/ Vomiting/Cold etc.


(Crocin/ Domstal etc) IMPORTANT

❑ Your staple antibiotics and prescriptions from your doctor.

❑ Ointments for burns, cuts etc.

❑ Bandages,Crepe, band-aids (Always available at hostel)

❑ Meftal Spas IMPORTANT

❑ Anti-Allergy Medicines
Toilet Kit
We advise you to not to bring too many items as daily
essentials are available at the Mart inside Campus. But here is
a list anyway 😊
❑ Toothbrush and toothpaste
❑ 1 Deodorant/ Perfume
❑ Soaps (Bathing + Hand wash)
❑ 1 Shampoo
❑ 1 Razor
❑ 1 Shaving Cream
❑ 1 Comb
❑ 1 Nail Cutter
❑ 1 After Shave
❑ 1 Electric Trimmer (Not Available inside campus)
❑ Sanitary Napkins

Please note all the above mentioned items are available on


campus.
Utensils

All these utensils will be available inside the mart on


campus. Keep it to minimum.

❑ 2 containers to store the junk food you eat 😊

❑ 2 Water bottles

❑ 1 Spoon and a mug/bowl/plate

❑ Scissors/Knife
Miscellaneous

❑ 1 Sturdy Umbrella (IMPORTANT; can buy later as June isn’t


very rainy)
❑ 2 Pillow cover- bed sheet sets
❑ 1 thin blanket
❑ 2 Towels
❑ 1 Hand Towel/Napkin
❑ 1 Sewing Kit
❑ 1 Laptop Bag
❑ Regular backpack
❑ Stationary (Available inside campus)
❑ Calculator (Can be bought on campus)
❑ Notebook (Available inside campus)
❑ 1 LAN Cable for better connectivity
❑ Cloth bag to dump your dirty clothes (Available in campus)
