Prayer Assignment

My Target Audience: A hungry child in the third world who is waiting for food.

Prayers:
1. Prayer Of Intercession

“Prayer Of Intercession” is a type of prayer in which one prays on behalf of another person or situation.

The “Prayer Of Intercession” is to ask God to help the person we are praying for. In this case, one will be

praying for the hungry children in a third world country. I chose this prayer because the “Prayer Of

Intercession” is where you pray for someone else and ask God to help them out. One would be praying in

favour of another.

Dear Lord,

I pray today for the people who don’t have food on the table.

Loving Father, I pray for all those hungry children out there.

God you care for us all, look after and care for all those in need.

Dear Lord, I need your help and your blessing for all those children with no roof over their heads.

Lord Jesus Christ, fill those children's hearts with your love.

I pray today for all those kids who aren’t as fortunate as some of us.

I spend a moment of quiet and stillness to pray for those in need.

2. Prayer Of Petition

“Prayer Of Petition” is the act of asking God for the stuff needed in one's life and living. The “Prayer Of

Petition” is a request to God that asks him to fulfill a need. In this case, one would be praying to God to

help the children in third world countries who don’t have food and are starving. I chose this prayer

because the “Prayer Of Petition '' is where you pray to God for the things needed in your life. Instead of

praying for yourself, you can pray for someone who doesn't have at least one meal a day. For instance,

you can pray for the children who are starving and are waiting for food.
Dear Lord

Thank you for the beautiful day.

Thank you for my family. I praise you Lord.

Among all that I have, there are many hungry and needy children.

I lift them up to You and ask that You bless them, help them & heal them.

May your peace fill their hearts and may joy shine.

I ask that you intercede for them, fulfilling their needs according to your will.

I also pray that You would use me to help them in any way we can.

Open my eyes and make me aware of the opportunities I have to help those children in need.

Help me not to be selfish, help me to share.

I commit this prayer to you, In Jesus name, Amen
