4. Find the volume of a solid S generated by revolving the region repre-


sented by 0 ≤ y ≤ 1 − x2 about the line y = 1

5. Find the volume of a solid S generated by revolving the region in the


first quadrant bounded by x = y − y 3 , x = 1 and y = 1 about

a) x-axis,

b) y-axis,

c) x = 1,

d) y = 1.
