NARRATIVE REPORT
Work Immersion refers to the subject of the SHS Curriculum which involved hands-on training and experiences
on work simulation in which learners can apply their competencies and acquired knowledge and skills relevant
to their chosen track/strand.
With the passage of the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013 (RA 10533), DepEd was tasked to implement
the K-12 Program, essentially adding 2 years of specialization within the Basic Educational System.
As the Work Immersion for this school year 2021-2022 comes to conclusion, Work Immersion teachers conduct
the culminating program as part of the post-immersion activity to recognize the effort of the learners as well as
to renew the partnership between the school and partner institutions. Focal persons from City Veterinary Office,
DSWD, LGU of Maasin, and DOLE attended the said culmination to witness the fruit of the partnership with
the hope that this activity/partnership would create or mold learners to become responsible individuals in the
society being exposed to the real employment environment.
Outstanding immersion performance awards were also given to student who excelled.
